Walking in the Park – Parc de la Butte du Chapeau Rouge
Your walk this month will be Parc de la Butte de Chapeau Rouge and the Mousaïa district.
The Mousaïa district is located in the North-East of Paris and is composed of townhouses and small dwellings built in the 70’s. These colorful small houses give the impression of a life size dollhouse with their decorative facades and flowering window boxes.
The Park de la Butte-du-Chapeau-Rouge which is situated in the Mousäia district was built for the 1937 Paris Universal Exposition. The park is home to many historical trees such as a Tulip Tree and a Giant Sequoia.
